CMB Architecture Berlin was established in 1998 by Matthias Brandner, architect and Dipl.-Ing. (equiv. MSc).

Matthias Brandner has been active as architect in Berlin since 1990. Brandner has studied architecture at Technische Universität Berlin between 1985 and 1990. Between 1991 and 1998, he worked as architect and project leader in the office of renowned architect Bernhard Binder, D.Eng. In this position, Brandner has participated, among others, in the project management for TOP Tegel Business Centre as well as for Brummer Fashion Boutique in Berlin.

Matthias Brandner has made various journeys across Europe, the United States, Australia, Africa and Asia.

Brandner works collaboratively with a team of well-educated engineers, architects and site managers as well as real estate experts. This networking practice allows for the realisation of the most diverse building projects.

Aside from its planning and consulting business in Germany, CMB Architecture is also active as a consultant in northeast China.
